Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know — for pet owners and business owners alike.

How do I find pet care businesses near me? +
Go to the homepage and browse by city, or visit the All Cities page to find your location. Each city page lists all active pet care businesses in that area, organized by category and featuring top-rated providers first.
What types of pet care businesses are listed? +
We cover 50+ categories including veterinary clinics, dog groomers, pet boarding facilities, dog trainers, pet sitters, doggy daycare, pet supply stores, animal shelters, aquatic specialists, exotic pet care, and more.
Is it free to browse and contact businesses? +
Yes, completely free. You can browse all listings, view contact details, and reach out to businesses directly with no account required and no fees charged to pet owners.
How do I contact a business? +
Each listing displays the business's phone number and website link directly on the card. Click to call or visit their site — there's no intermediary. You deal with the business directly.
Are the businesses verified or reviewed? +
PetCare.city is an advertising directory — we review submissions before publishing, but we do not independently verify licenses, credentials, or insurance. We strongly encourage you to confirm these details directly with the business before hiring.
How do I list my pet care business? +
Click "Add Business" in the navigation or visit the Add Business page. Fill in your business name, city, category, contact details, and description. The form takes under 2 minutes. After submission we review and publish within 24 hours.
What's the difference between free and premium listings? +
Free listings appear in the standard section of your city page with your name, category, contact info, and description. Premium listings are featured at the top of the page above all standard listings, with a highlighted card design, premium badge, and featured image — giving you maximum visibility.
How long does a listing stay active? +
Both free and premium listings are active for 365 days from the date of approval. You'll receive a notification before expiry and can renew at any time to maintain your presence on the platform.
Can I upgrade from free to premium after listing? +
Yes. You can upgrade your listing to premium at any time. Contact us or visit the Pricing page to get started. Your upgraded listing will be moved to the featured section immediately upon payment.
Do you take commission on bookings? +
Never. PetCare.city is a flat-fee advertising platform. We charge a one-time listing fee — that's it. There are no commissions, no per-lead fees, and no hidden charges. All revenue from your customers goes directly to you.
